SUBUD is a direct spiritual experience of the soul being awakened by the power of God. The name SUBUD is derived from the words Susila Budhi Dharma which together mean the willingness to put into practice that which is received from God.
SUBUD embraces all religions, all races, all cultures. Although it is based on a spiritual experience, it is not a religion, having no specific teaching, dogma or creed. Members of SUBUD belong to all religions and spiritual paths and many find their beliefs strengthened by the SUBUD experience. SUBUD groups can be found in eighty countries, with an active membership worldwide. As an expression of the aims of SUBUD, members participate in humanitarian, arts and cultural projects, along with activities to support youth and families. |
